A DRIVER was seriously injured after his car crashed into trees in Stratford in the early hours of Saturday morning (February 18).
The victim, who is believed to be in his 20s, had to be freed from the car after the accident on the Warwick Road near to the Grosvenor Hotel at around 1.15am.
The man was unconscious and had suffered multiple injuries.
An ambulance spokesman said: “Due to the serious nature of his condition, ambulance crews quickly freed the man from the badly damaged car to begin emergency treatment. The man suffered a serious head injury and fractures to his leg and arm.
“He was immobilised with a neck collar, spinal board and leg and arm splints before being taken to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire for further assessment and treatment.”
