POLICE have identified a person found in a burning car in a remote field near Stratford as teenager Jacob Nolan-Parks.
The 17-year-old, from Pershore, died in the car fire, in a field of Bearley Road, in Aston Cantlow on January 25.
Initial tests could not identify the youngster but Warwickshire Police officially announced his identity.
Police are not treating his death as suspicious and do not believe anybody else was involved in the incident.
They were called to the scene by firefighters who were alerted to a fire in the field at around 7am.
But while they were tackling the blaze they discovered there was a person inside the Peugeot car.
In a statement Jacob’s family said: "Jacob was a much loved member of our family, his tragic passing has left us all devastated, he was such a kind, gentle person.
"A hole has been left in all our hearts. We would like to thank family, friends and all other people who have been, and are still supporting us."
