SEVERAL people have been injured after a car crashed into the window of a shop in Stratford town centre.
It happened at around 2.30pm today (Monday April 23) when the vehicle crashed into the front of the White Stuff shop, on Bridge Street.
The Air Ambulance landed on Waterside and several emergency vehicles attended the scene.
A man appeared to be trapped inside the car and paramedics were attending to others at the scene.
The driver of a people carrier appears to have lost control on the roundabout at the top of Bridge Street and the car hit the a shop front at the junction with Henley Street.
A police spokesperson said there were 'a number of casualties' including pedestrians and the occupants of the car.
Police, fire and ambulance were also in attendance and Bridge Street and Wood Street are currently closed to traffic.
