STEVE Holbrook is regarded by many as Britain's most gifted clairaudient medium and he will be showing why at Stratford Falcon Hotel on April 22.
He describes himself as a telephone exchange between this world and the next, and while many mediums see the spirits they connect with, Steve hears them, hence the word clairaudient rather than clairvoyant. Steve has, in the past, even helped the police on a murder investigation.
His extraordinary life is detailed in no less than three biographies - Light in the Darkness, Out of this World, and the latest titled Survival.
Over the last few years Steve has raised tens of thousands of pounds for local charities - notably the hospice movement - including £50,000 for his local hospice in Wakefield, together with over £5,000 for MacMillan Cancer Support.
Tickets, priced £16, are available in advance on 01924 256542, on the door (subject to availability, cash only). Doors open at 7pm for 7.30pm start.
