A WOMAN had to be freed from her car following a crash near Tysoe.
The two car collision happened on the A422 Banbury Road near the village around 9.15am on Wednesday (November 7).
A woman in her 30s driving alone was trapped in her car and had to be freed, before being taken to hospital in Oxford with head, hip and chest injuries.
A family of four travelling in the second car were treated by medics at the scene. A man in his 40s was treated for a chest injury, and an eight-year-old boy received neck, back and shoulder injuries. They were both taken to Warwick Hospital for further assessment and treatment.
A woman in her 40s and a teenage girl also travelling in the car were also checked by medics but did not need hospital treatment.
