Hi: ° Lo:° 7 day

THE PRIDE of Stratford will be celebrated next month.
Organisers, local radio station 102 Touch FM, have revealed the list of finalists who are up for the second annual Pride of Stratford Awards, sponsored by Barclays and DCS Europe.
The awards - a mix of business and community awards - will be presented at a glittering awards ceremony at the Holiday Inn on February 1.
The finalists were chosen by a panel of four judges which included last year’s ‘Stratford Pride Award’ winner and CEO of the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust Diana Owen, Chairman of Stratford District Council Neville Beamer, Tom Horton from Barclays, and Touch FM CEO Steve Orchard.
Mr Orchard said: “My fellow judges and I were extremely impressed with the standard of nominations. I love reading so many wonderfully positive stories of success from around here and all of the judges agreed that narrowing the nominations in each category to just three finalists was a huge challenge.
“I’d like to congratulate every single one of our finalists and whether they walk away with a trophy on the night or not, they’ve done a fantastic job to reach the final stages of the competition. If you weren’t selected as a finalist this year, I do hope that you’ll come back and next year to tell us of your continued success.
There are only a few tickets to the awards ceremony remaining. Tickets include a five course meal, wines and a drinks reception. Call Touch FM on 01926 485600 for further details.
