GLASSES will be raised for charity at this year’s Stratford Beer and Cider Festival.
Since the festival at Stratford Racecourse began 11 years ago more than £10,000 has been donated to the Shakespeare Hospice through unused beer tokens and donations.
And organisers hope to raise even more at this year’s event on Friday July 7 and Saturday July 8.
There will be nearly 100 real ales on offer along with a choice of 30 different ciders and perries.
The festival will run between 12pm and 11pm on Friday and 11am to 11pm on Saturday and there will be a free shuttle bus running to and from Stratford train station.
Tickets cost £10 including a souvenir glass and £5 of beer or cider tokens.
