Frankenstein - Tread the Boards

Stratford Editorial 12th Oct, 2015 Updated: 28th Oct, 2016

FRANKENSTEIN gets creative in Tread the Boards adaptation at the Attic Theatre in Stratford.

Mary Shelley’s classic, adapted by Catherine Prout and John-Robert Partridge, runs from October 17 to November 1.

Dr Victor Frankenstein has always had an interest in biology and more importantly the art of bringing dead matter to life. His experiments lead him to create a man – quicker, stronger and more intelligent than any human alive.

A great ambition but when his dream becomes a reality little does he realise what he will set loose.

The creature he has created is left to fend for itself and meet the dark and horrid world around him until eventually he becomes the product of the hate he experiences.
