Much Ado About About Nothing - Mary Arden's Farm

Stratford Editorial 5th Jul, 2016 Updated: 28th Oct, 2016   0

THERE will be much ado about something at Mary Arden’s Farm next week.

MadCap Theatre Productions are returning to Shakespeare’s mother’s home with the Bard’s romantic comedy Much Ado About Nothing on July 15 and 16.

And the stop off during a national tour will be a return home for cast members Matilda Bott and Robert Moore, who live and work in Stratford, and who are playing Beatrice and Don John/Dogberry respectively.

The day job for the pair includes working for the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust and the Royal Shakespeare Company running tours and drama workshops.

At their open air productions, the company invite audiences to bring their own chairs, rugs and picnics. Should the great British weather intervene there is an option to switch indoors.

Tickets, priced £13 (£11 concessions), are available in advance at www.madcaptheatreproductions.co.uk or on the door (cash only). The play starts at 7pm.
