RICH Hall will be having a hoeing on down to Stratford Artshouse next month.
The American comedian and his mates will be presenting a mash-up of music and laughs in Rich Hall’s Hoedown on Wednesday April 19.
Hall’s critically acclaimed grouchy, deadpan style has established him as a master of absurdist irony and the king of rapid-fire wit.
He is the star of the critically-acclaimed BBC 4 documentaries Rich Hall’s Californian Stars, Rich Hall’s You Can Go To Hell; I’m Going To Texas; Rich Hall’s Inventing the Indian; and his most recent, Rich Hall’s Presidential Grudge Match.
He also wrote and starred in a four-part series for BBC Radio 4 in November called Rich Hall’s (US Election) Breakdown.
And he is currently filming his next BBC 4 documentary Oh Brother Where Am I – focusing on country music and its origins. The one-off programme is due to be broadcast this spring.
Hall has also become well known for his television and radio work. Notable UK appearances include regular appearances on QI; Live At The Apollo; and Have I Got News For You.
Hall also released his third live stand-up DVD 3:10 To Humour in November.
