Support Local

David Wakelam 6th Apr, 2018 Updated: 10th Apr, 2018

WITH more and more local shops affected by customers buying on line, here at the Bromsgrove Standard think it’s about time to remind readers of all the benefits of supporting local shops and business.

We all know that local shops and businesses give better service – and not just to make the sale.

Local shops and businesses are there for ongoing service and attention, and we also know by supporting local shops and businesses, we create local jobs and boost our local economy – which is good for us all.

There are so many reasons why readers should shop and do business locally and we intend to run campaigns reminding our thousands and thousands of readers both in print and online about the reasons why they should always consider dealing with local businesses..

We’re starting our campaign next week and getting the message across to all your existing and potential customers across Bromsgrove and Droitwich.

Please see attached some visuals with 10 good reasons why our Readers should shop locally with businesses just like yours, and this promotion will be appearing in print as of next week in the Bromsgrove Standard (also a local business employing local people).

We hope you will support this campaign and would be delighted if you could send in other reasons why you believe people should shop locally and deal with local businesses, and maybe if you have any examples of folk who have had a bad experience of shopping on line, let us know – so we can wherever and whenever possible ‘spread the word’.
