FINAL preparations are underway for the Stratford-upon-Avon Home & Garden Show next week.

The show, running from July 17 to 19 at the Recreation Ground, will feature 200 exhibitors showcasing a mix of artisan designs and crafts, homewares, foods, plants, garden buildings and accessories.

There will be a Home & Crafts marquee, 200 seat Live Demonstration Theatre, a Food Court with its own 100 seat Cookery Theatre, a Rural Crafts Marquee showcasing traditional British crafts and the Toots Vintage Tearooms.

The show will also host the ‘Love The Plot You’ve Got Roadshow’ – four before and after gardens with advice from gardening presenter Chris Collins.

The new Cookery Theatre will have a host of chefs cooking up delights including exciting celebrity chef, Felice Tocchini on the Saturday and Sunday.

The team of ‘barrow boys and girls’ will again be on hand to assist with carrying purchases to the cars and local musicians including wandering, medieval minstrels will be entertaining around the showground.

The show’s organisers, Steve Brookes and Stephanie Lester, directors of Blooming Marvellous Events, have many years experience of the home and garden events industry.

Steve spent 21 years as a BBC gardening presenter and Steph, an interior designer, has exhibited at many top homes and interiors shows.
