A 95-bedroom care home could be built in Stratford.
Developers Berkley Care have submitted an application to Stratford District Council to build the nursing, residential and dementia care home on land off Western Road, close to Stratford Railway Station.
The four-storey building would fall under the canal quarter regeneration zone – an area of ‘under-used land’ close to the town centre which will see 1,000 homes and a number of businesses built to create a new community.
The care home will be surrounded by gardens and would include 39 parking spaces.
If given the go-ahead it would employ around 110 full time staff.
