Hip hop artist Devon Glover recited all 154 of Shakespeare’s sonnets back to back in just three-and-a-half hours.

The New Yorker undertook his verse marathon during the Stratford Literary Festival to mark the 400th anniversary of the Bard’s death.
Literary festival director Annie Ashworth said: “Devon did such a good job and it was wonderful to have him with us. We can’t guarantee it was a record but we are pretty sure no one else has ever achieved all 154 sonnets, let alone rapped.”
