Armed gang rampages through Alcester street

AN ARMED gang rampaged through an Alcester street leaving one man seriously hurt.

The man in his 30s was taken to hospital for a head injury following the disturbance on St Nicholas Close on Friday (February 9) at around 7.45pm. It is not known if the man was attacked by the gang. His injury is not thought to be life-threatening.

The gang, which included one woman, was carrying sticks and causing damage to cars and house windows on the street, as well as on Crooks Lane.

The gang carried on to Hertford Road where they split up.
