MOTORCYCLISTS revved up to raise funds for a life-saving charity.
Stratford-Upon-Avon Motorcycle Club ran the annual Chris North charity motorcycle trial in aid of the British Heart Foundation.
The event – where riders aim to complete a section of tight turns, obstacles, hill climbs and muddy banks without putting their feet on the ground – totted up nearly £2,000 for the charity.
Founder Chris North said: “The trial started after the sudden passing of Chris North of a heart attack. Following this tragedy I wanted to do something positive in his name and as a member of Stratford MCC the idea of a charity trial was born.”
And in its four year history, the event – which runs from Lower Quinton to Meon Hill, has raised some £5,300 for the heart charity in memory of Chris.
