COME rain or shine, Brailes Show will back this weekend.
Whether you need to wear wellies – or a sun hat – head down to get stuck in with all things countryside at this traditional village event.
Expect dog and pony shows, vintage vehicles, fruit and veg displays, and, of course, a suitably silly scarecrow trail.
There will be lots to entertain children at this family-friendly event, including pottery throwing, archery and water-zorbing.
Whet your whistle in the Young Farmers’ Beer Tent or Cotswold Distillery’s mobile gin bar, and enjoy tasty treats from a number of local stalls.
The main show opens at 1.30pm on Saturday August 12. Adult tickets cost £3.50, senior citizens £2.50 and under 16s £1. Under 5s go free.
