A COUNCILLOR has been appointed a brand new role on Stratford District Council’s Cabinet to help kick the economy back into shape in the wake of covid-19.
Coun Matt Jennings has been named as tourism and economic development portfolio holder role to help lead a response to the economic impact of the pandemic.
The Henley ward member and amateur kick-boxer, has been a district councillor since May 2019 and is a member of the Audit and Standards Committee and Planning Committee A.
Coun Jennings has lived in the district since 2017 and runs a small project management and IT business.
