ORGANISERS have hailed the ‘triumphant’ return of the Bulldog Bash to Stratford.
The Hell’s Angels organised event was back on Long Marston Airfield for the first time after they opted to take a year off to rethink things in 2013.
And having stripped the festival back to its roots as an old school bike show, organisers were pleased to see just under 5,000 people roar up at the weekend.
With bikers coming from as far away as Holland, they said the new format was well-received and the event’s return was also welcomed by local people and businesses.
Bulldog Bash spokesman Echo said: “We are well chuffed with the way everything went.
“The site set up worked well, the usual attactions such as the custom show and drag strip were very popular and the new karaoke bar was a big hit.
“We’ve had great feedback about the return of the big marquee, beer and ticket prices and there will be a few tweaks for next year but the Bash is well and truly back!”
The organisers would like to thank the bikers, show goers and local people for their continuing support and added that sensible policing had helped everything go smoothly.
