Burglars break into post office

Stratford Editorial 28th Jan, 2019   0

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after burglars broke into a Napton post office.

A gang of men used a metal bar to break into the New Street premises, on Saturday (January 26) at around 7.45pm.

They stole cash before fleeing the scene in a dark blue Volkswagen Golf with partial registration KP64.

Police have launched an investigation and are appealing for the public’s help to trace the men responsible.

Det Sgt Steve Flavell said: “There were people in the area at the time so I would appeal to anyone with any information that could help us to identify the offenders to contact us and help us bring them to justice.”

Anyone with information should call 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
