KIND-HEARTED business students at Stratford College have put their skills to good use by raising money for charity.
The students worked in teams to hold fund-raising events in aid of Young Epilepsy UK, Cancer Research UK, M.I.N.D. and Rays of Sunshine.
They raised more than 1,600 for the charities, with Charlie Glynn securing £630 in donations for Cancer Research by helping host a charity ball.
The 20 year-old said: “To know that we raised the money for a charity that’s so close to us all is amazing, and to be able to do it as part of our college work is absolutely fantastic.
“Because the cause is personal to us, we felt everyone would have more invested in our event and so we’d work that much harder.”
The activities were designed to develop team working and event management.
