Choir and coach company hoping to stay in perfect harmony

A CHOIR and a bus and coach company are hoping they can stay in perfect harmony over the next 12 months.

Henley-based Johnsons recently agreed to sponsor the Alcester Male Voice Choir for the fourth year in a row.

The 80-strong choir sing throughout the UK and Europe, and help to raise much-needed funds for charities, churches, and societies locally.

John Johnson, director of Johnsons, said: “As a coach and bus operator we have to make sure any organisation we support has similar values to ourselves and with Alcester Male Voice Choir this is definitely the case.

“They deliver quality performances time after time and you only have to look at some of the venues they perform at to appreciate the calibre of the choir we are supporting.”

Judith Land, choir founder and director of music, added: “We are once again most grateful to Johnsons for their help and we are delighted to be associated with a company that is so well respected within the area.

“It has been a pleasure over the last three years and we look forward to another successful 12 months together.”
