Cyclists gearing up for Great Shakespeare Ride

Stratford Editorial 10th Aug, 2016 Updated: 28th Oct, 2016

CYCLISTS are gearing up to raise money for the Shakespeare Hospice at the weekend.

The Great Shakespeare Ride is back on Sunday (August 14) and for those inspired by Team GB’s exploits in the Olympics, there is still time to enter.

Starting at the Stratford Manor Hotel at 9am, cyclists can take on a 100 mile, 100km or 40mile route through the Warwickshire and Cotswolds countryside before enjoying the bar, a BBQ and a well-deserved massage at the end.

The Shottery-based hospice provides support for those with life-limiting illness and needs to raise £2million each year to keep its services running.

Call 01789 266852 to take part.
