CYCLISTS are highlighting the problems they experience getting around the town.
As part of Cycling UK’s campaign Space for Cycling, Stratford Friends of the Earth organised a ride highlighting some of the issues cyclists suffer, including lack of space which stops them getting around.
A spokesman from the group said: “Everyone in Stratford should enjoy the health benefits, improved air quality and community feel that Space for Cycling can bring – whether we choose to cycle or not. Cycle-friendly streets are people-friendly streets”
A meeting is being held by the Friends’ where people can find out more about the campaign. It will take place at the Methodist Hall opposite Holy Trnity Church on Friday (October 6) at 7.30pm.
