GREEN-FINGERED Soroptimists have been keeping a corner of Stratford Hospital looking its blooming best.
The dedicated women have been carrying out round-the-year maintenance – planting and pruning – of the Nicol Ward Garden for the past 14 years.
They have been helped in their work by donations from Stratford Town Trust which have allowed the planting of perennial lavenders and roses which have been supplemented throughout the year with colourful bedding plants and annual seeds.
