EAGLE-eyed Eastenders fans spotted a blunder in a recent episode – that characters were looking at renting Anne Hathaway’s Cottage.
Of course, the 600 year-old home is not up for rental and is in fact the former home of Shakespeare’s wife.
Viewers watching the show saw Ronnie Mitchell planning a Christmas getaway with her fiance Jack Branning.
And while looking for a break in Dorset, the website shown on screen was for ‘Moonfleet Cottage’ but had a picture of the Shakespearian home.
Fan Claire Prosser wrote on Twitter: “Another blunder Eastenders looking at cottages in Dorset? The picture is Anne Hathaway’s cottage in Stratford upon Avon! Ohhh dear EE!”
Another user wrote: “Anne Hathaway’s being used as a holiday cottage in Dorset, how can Eastenders think no one would spot their error.”
