Eco shoppers flock to zero-waste market

CONSCIENTIOUS consumers flocked to a new zero-waste market in Warwickshire.

Charlie Demetriou and Marisa Edworthy recently launched their package-free brand ‘Zero’ in Harbury.

The pair were rushed off their feet as customers swept up the offerings including dried cupboard ingredients, nuts, tea and coffee into their recycled containers.

Non-food products including bamboo toothbrushes and shampoo and conditioner bars were among the most popular.

Marisa said: “We have been overwhelmed by how many people are keen to start shopping in a more sustainable way.”

The next pop-up market will take place in Cubbington on November 2.
