STUDENTS and staff from Stratford School spread some festive cheer by putting together expertly decorated hampers.
The 65 hampers full of foods, gifts and treats were distributed by charities Homegroup, The Cyrenians and the District Children’s Team and handed out to local families in need before Christmas.
Stratford School spokesman Ed Bamford, who has been the brains behind the operation for the last two years said: “It is wonderful to see how the students, staff and parents get behind this every year. We have sixty five hampers this time and in 2016 we had just over fifty. The growth in the response is testimony to our school community and how they want to help others locally.
“We are very proud of their achievement.”
