A GLASS has been raised to Alcester and Stratford District Round Table after it organised a beer festival to fund life saving equipment.
The group donated enough money to the local scout group to buy a defibrillator.
The money was raised through a beer festival and annual pig roast.
Round table chairman Matt Payne said: “It’s such a valuable asset to have for the town of Alcester and we’re delighted to have been able to fund this defibrillator with funds raised from our events in Alcester.
“We strive to use the money we raise back into our community so the people who support our beer festival and pig roasts know they are supporting local charities and good causes.”
