Fifty Shades of Grey author E L James launches art collection in Stratford

THE author of Fifty Shades of Grey has collaborated on a fine art collection launched in in Stratford.
E. L. James worked with fashion photographer Raphael Mazzucco on the collection, which is on display at Castle Galleries in Bard Walk.
The works feature photography overlaid with collage and phrases from the books.
Each piece has been signed by the best-selling author.
She said: “I am thrilled to be involved with this project and to be working with an artist as inspired and original as Raphael Mazzucco.
“He’s brought a tremendous passion and lust for life to his interpretation of Fifty Shades.”
And gallery manager Jason Lawson said: “The delicately seductive appeal of this collection draws upon the captivating narrative of E.L. James’ trilogy to produce images as delicate as they are striking. Beautifully presented in a monochromatic mixed media composition, they represent the creative meeting of minds.”
