Firefighters tackle garage blaze in Hampton Lucy

FIREFIGHTERS spent an hour and a half tackling a garage blaze in Hampton Lucy.

Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service received three calls to a report of a shed fire on Church Street in Hampton Lucy shortly before 11.15pm on Sunday (May 24).

Engines from Wellesbourne and Stratford attended and a further appliance from Leamington was requested after it became clear the fire was located in a garage.

Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.




*AND firefighters were sent to deal with a car blaze in Earlswood.

A crew from Henley was called to the incident in a field off Umberslade Road around 2.45pm on Friday (May 22) and on arrival, found the car to be well-alight.


They used breathing apparatus and a hose reel to extinguish the fire – the cause of which is not yet known.
