FIRE crews were called to free trapped drivers following a three-vehicle crash in Stratford.
One person was able to free themselves with help from paramedics, and the other needed to be cut out after the smash along Warwick Road, near the Fisherman’s car park, on Monday afternoon.
An elderly driver was taken to hospital with potentially serious injuries. The driver of the van was also taken to hospital but his injuries were not believed to be serious.
Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service has warned drivers to take extra care on the roads in the cold weather conditions and ensure windscreens are completely clear before heading off.
