Firefighters work through the night to put out farmhouse blaze

Stratford Editorial 5th Dec, 2016   0

FIREFIGHTERS were called to a farmhouse ablaze in Little Compton.

Crews worked through the night from around 3pm to put out the fire at the property on Langston Farm Road on Sunday (December 4).

The first floor and roof space of the farmhouse – which was being used as a home – was completely filled with smoke and flames.

Seven water jets and crews from seven neighbouring fire services were needed to extinguish the blaze.
