A FLYING school is inviting the community to a free open day to learn more about its role in general aviation.
Take Flight based at Wellesbourne Airfield is one of two remaining businesses fighting to remain on the land which the owners want to sell.
The event could be the last on the airfield after businesses lost a court battle to renew their tenancies. But the school is planning a second appeal against the decision while Stratford District Council is making a Compulsory Purchase Order of the site.
The event on Sunday (June 2) includes a barbecue and offers of half price trial lessons.
