FOOTBALL supporters netted some cash for Stratford Hospital’s Cancer and Eye Appeal.
Straford Town’s newly formed Independent Supporters’ Association raises £168 at the League Cup game against neighbours Leamington at the DCS Stadium.
“We felt this was an important game to target as members of the public from both towns will have access to this important service of care” said Johnathan Gullis of the Supporters’ Association.
“The Supporters’ Association was created to help raise the profile of the club in the local community and continue the work of raising funds for important charitable causes.
“We appreciate both Stratford Hospital for allowing us to represent them and the Football Club for using the game to help towards the £1million total needed.”
