Laura Kearns 20th Dec, 2017

A FRAUDSTER has stolen £11,000 from a Wilmcote resident after they handed over their bank details.

The resident received a call purporting to be from BT at 11am on Tuesday (December 12).

They then allowed the fraudster to access their computer remotely. It was then that they stole the victim’s bank details and took £11,000 from their Nationwide bank account.

Anyone with information can call 101 to speak to police.
