Fresh appeal for witnesses to Studley pub altercation

A FRESH appeal has been made for witnesses to an altercation near a Studley pub.

Two men are understood to have been outside the Swan Inn Pub on the High Street around 8pm on Friday (February 12) when a 27-year-old man was reportedly punched twice in the face.

PC John Townsend said: “We have been pursuing a number of inquiries and understand that there were a number of people were in the smoking area at the time.

“We would be keen to speak to any independent witnesses who can verify what has occurred.




“We understand that during the incident the men may have knocked into a woman.

“We would be keen to speak with her as she may be able to provide more information.”
