AN OPTICIANS is calling for Stratford causes to put themselves forward for funding.
Specsavers on Wood Street is looking for two local charities, sports teams, community groups, individuals or schools to receive a £1,000 donation.
Store director Paul Griffiths said: “We would like to encourage people to nominate a cause that they feel deserves our support. It could be for an individual who needs treatment for an illness, or for a local nursery that would like to renovate their playground.
“This is a great opportunity for us to engage with the local community and help those who need it most. If you know of a cause in need we’d be very grateful to hear from you.”
