ADVANCES in medicine and how the NHS has changed in the last 70 years will be discussed at an upcoming healthcare meeting.
South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust (SWFT) – which runs Warwick, Leamington, Stratford and Shipton hospitals – is hosting its annual governors’ and members meeting on Thursday July 5 – the day the NHS celebrates its 70th birthday.
Between 9.30am and 12.30pm at Warwickshire Golf and Country Club in Leek Wootton there will be the chance to celebrate the milestone while finding out more about local healthcare.
Trust chief executive Glen Burley will also give an update on the trust’s performance throughout the year and its future plans.
