A COMMITMENT to excellence has seen Heart of England Mencap receive a prestigious award.
Investors in People award has presented the charity with its coveted ‘We invest in people’ Silver Accreditation. The silver award is something only 20 per cent of the organisations assessed achieve.
It means the right principles are in place and that people and leaders are making active efforts to make sure there is consistency and everyone in the organisation is feeling the effects.
Heart of England Mencap supports around 200 people with a learning disability with a range of services in south Warwickshire and north Worcestershire, from day opportunities to residential care.
The charity’s mission is to empower people with learning disabilities to lead fulfilling lives.
