IT WILL be all hands on deck during a project to turn an historic boat into a mobile youth centre.
Volunteers from the Avon Navigation Trust are developing Dutch vessel Neptune into a floating youth centre and activity hub.
The Royal Yachting Association training centre will make its way up and down the Avon encouraging the next generation of boaters.
ANT Chief Executive Clive Matthews said: “Neptune will be a mobile activity centre delivering adult boat handling training and engaging young people up and down the Avon.
“It will also be the home of the ANT Squad of young volunteers, spearheading our initiative to future proof the Avon by encouraging young people on board to become our boaters and volunteers of the future.”
