Holiday bin collection changes for some

RESIDENTS are being reminded some bin collections will change over the festive period.

No collections will be made on Boxing Day, meaning all collections will be one day later than normal between Christmas and New Year.

Coun Mike Brain spokesman for services said: “The festive season is the only time refuse and recycling collections are affected in Stratford district.

“By only changing the collections that fall on Boxing Day this ensures that residents have the least amount of disruption possible.”

Stratford District Council’s offices will be closed between December 24 and January 2 but the online ‘report it’ forms will still be available and action taken on missed bins and street cleansing issues.
