Holy Trinity pupils spread festive joy to retirement village residents

Laura Kearns 13th Dec, 2020

HOLY Trinity pupils have been spreading festive greetings to residents at a Stratford retirement village.

Schoolchildren made Christmas cards which were delivered to McCarthy and Stone’s Harvard Place and Orchard Gate developments.

Each card included a message from the children, and to say thank you residents sent festive treats for the youngsters to enjoy.

Headteacher Jo Herrero said: “All of our pupils really enjoyed making and writing their cards. It was certainly a great way to get us all into the Christmas spirit and help to foster relationships between the generations. We’d like to thank all of the homeowners for sending their kind treats for the children. The delivery was a wonderful surprise for the children and they were absolutely thrilled that the homeowners enjoyed their cards.”
