Hunt for a new home for Snow

Stratford Editorial 19th Aug, 2017   0

THE SEASONS keep changing, but a dog called Snow is still waiting for her luck to turn.

The six year-old American Bulldog has been at Dogs Trust Kenilworth since January after her owner became ill.

She arrived at the centre and has seen winter, spring and summer there, and now faces her first autumn.

Despite missing her home comforts, the pup is having lots of cuddles from her canine carers.

But after 200 days and nights in kennels, staff are hoping they can find an owner with a cosy spot on the sofa for the loveable hound.

Centre manager Emma Healey said: “Snow is a wonderful dog who can be shy at first but she adores people so if you can offer her some snuggle time on a sofa, she’ll be your best friend.

“She is looking for a quiet, adult-only home where someone is around for most of the day as she doesn’t like to be left alone for too long. She travels really well in the car and walks perfectly on the lead which is great for taking her out to new places.

“She’s been with us for a little while now and we’d love to find her a loving home to call her own where she can spend the rest of her days.

“Snow does suffer from skin allergies but Dogs Trust will support her new family with any vet bills associated with this.”

To find out more about Snow or any of the other dogs call 0300 303 0292 or visit the centre.
