ARTISTS from Stratford are once again preparing to show off their talents in the town.
KES will plays host to Stratford Art Society’s Annual Exhibition from today (August 15) until August 31.
This year over 800 new works have been created by members and three pieces will be chosen to receive a Personal Choice Award from internationally-acclaimed professional artist Peter Kotka.
In addition to the work on display, members will become ‘Artists in Residence’ demonstrating their skills to visitors and sharing techniques in watercolour, oil and acrylic painting, ceramics, sketching and Chinese watercolour.
Society president Michael Culverwell said: “Having had a sneak preview, I can confidently say that, once again, our talented members have surpassed all expectations in their artistic endeavours and we are very much looking forward to welcoming everyone to our 56th annual exhibition.”
The exhibition is open from 10am to 6pm daily and entry is free.
