Interested in becoming a paramedic?

WOULD-be paramedics are being encouraged to join the West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS).

Some 300 student paramedics are being recruited by WMAS and applications are now open to people who want to pursue a career as a paramedic.

WMAS chief executive Anthony Marsh said: “Being a paramedic is one of the most rewarding jobs in the world and it offers the chance to have an amazing career.

“The feeling of satisfaction you get when helping someone in their hour of need is something unique.
