AN ADDITIONAL 37 jobs will be created by the expansion of TrustFord’s Long Marston fleet distribution centre.

The firm, which currently employs 15 staff, is looking to expand its Long Marston Business Park headquarters from seven to 22.5 acres, with a storage capacity for around 7,000 vehicles.

New jobs range from technicians, panel beaters and drivers, to administration and support positions.

TrustFord, a network of dealerships across the UK, has been based in Long Marston for just over two years and the current development of the site will allow the company to create a national fleet distribution hub.

Mark Wilkie, Fleet and Commercial Vehicle Director at TrustFord, said: “The additional investment will have a huge impact on our business as the location will mean we can serve our customers faster and more efficiently than ever before, wherever they are in the UK.”

The work is due to completed by the end of year.
