SIXTH formers at KES went head to head with Stratford Rotarians to debate “democracy does not always produce the best outcome for a country” with the school opposing, in this year’s Club versus KES Annual Debate.
Brexit and the American presidency featured in the arguments, with the judges deciding the Club had won the day while a vote from the floor gave the school the verdict. The judges’ decision was however final.
Gilly Rushton, President of Stratford Rotary said: “These debates are very competitive and always a close call as to which team wins, this year was no exception.”
