THERE is still time to bring a glow to the streets of Stratford.
The Shakespeare Hospice’s new Glow Walk will see the town centre lit up by fund-raisers armed with glow sticks and clothed in neon gear from leg warmers to tutus.
Walkers can complete 5km or 10km on Saturday June 4, starting at the Welcombe Hotel at 9.30pm.
The hospice is urging people to raise at least £20.16 each which would fund two workbooks for children who have lost a family member, or lunch for four hospice patients.
Visit www.theshakespearehospice.org.uk to sign up for the glow walk.
* ORGANISERS of Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life at Ragley Hall have announced a change of date for the event.
Race for Life 5k and 10k events will take place at the venue from 7pm on June 16, instead of Sunday, July 17.
Event organiser, Emily Thompson, said: “We have not been able to proceed with a mid-July Race For Life event as initially planned. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause to our participants.
“Our supporters make Race for Life a truly uplifting, inspiring experience and we are calling onwomen to continue their support, to stand together, shoulder to shoulder, on the front line against cancer.
