Lions on the hunt in Stratford

Stratford Editorial 8th Apr, 2018   0

LIONS in Stratford are on the hunt for new members.

Shakespeare Lions are part of the international charitable organisation which collectively helps good causes across the globe.

And the Stratford branch is appealing for community-spirited residents to get in touch to offer their services.

The organisation offers support to many charitable causes from CPR and defibrillator training to running a hospital library for visually impaired people.

Shakespeare Lions president Kelvin McIntosh said: “Being a part of Shakespeare Lions is a wonderful way to help the community across Stratford.

“But we could really use an injection of new members full of ideas and inspiration to help us keep up the good work.

“The work we do really does make a difference to the people of the town and we would love to hear from prospective new members who would like to be a part of our continuing journey.

“We also have a fantastic social calendar at the Lions and host many great events for members to enjoy.

“We look forward to welcoming new members into the Lions family.”
